Activeyards Vinyl Fencing
Two-Toned Vinyl Fence

Most people assume all vinyl fencing is white, but in reality not many of us want to see a “big white wall” in our backyard.  In the sample above, we feature a two-tone Activeyard’s vinyl fence. We used a wicker color for the infill and sand color for the top trim and the bottom rail, which blend in with the color scheme of the house. The final product gives the impression that the fence was built as part of the original construction.

If you look closely at different house trims you will notice that most are not plain white. They might be Aztec white, khaki, sand or beige. The same happens with siding. It can be white, but usually it’s a very light –a pastel shade– in the yellow, cream, blue or gray family, with beige being the most widely used.

A two-tone fence is easily accomplished with vinyl. Originally, the customer wanted a wood fence. When presented with the benefits of a vinyl fence (low maintenance, color fade resistant and “”Glidelock” technology), his initial response was simply against a “solid white fence”.  This, in turn, presented the perfect opportunity to introduce other color options. Usually, vinyl fences come in one color –wicker, sand, white or gray. By matching two vinyl fence colors you can break up the pattern, creating more interesting areas and adding character to the overall fence, an excellent attribute for a privacy fence.
