We just completed this Trex deck in Chantilly, VA. We were limited in the area we had to work with regarding the layout and footprint of the deck but by using a picture frame decking pattern and two-tone colors we were able to give the deck some character. The owner chose to go with low-maintenance Trex composite decking and railing with black aluminum balusters.
