We just completed this screened porch on a model home for a builder in Ashburn, VA. The builder is offering the screened porch as an option on all of the units. Notice the knee wall in lieu of a traditional railing. This creates the appearance of a more enclosed space and blends in nicely with the existing trim and color scheme of the property.

On this particular project, the customer was interested in keeping things very low-maintenance. We used Timbertech XLM decking and railing and then wrapped the porch with white PVC trim. We used the Screen Tight track system so that future replacement of the screen would be a breeze. The result, a low-maintenance solution that allows the homeowner to spend more time enjoying this wonderful new space and less time maintaining it!

We recently completed this screened gazebo and deck in Loudoun County, VA. The owner chose to use the new Trex Transcends decking which offers an industry leading 25-year no fade, no food stain warranty! We have had really good feed-back with the product since its launch in January of this year. This product is low-maintenance without breaking the budget, it typically cost about $2.00 per square foot more than regular composite and is well worth the investment!

Here is an example of a basic pressure treated pine screened porch. This porch has a gabled roof with shingles to match the existing shingles on the house. This room has a beautiful tongue and groove pine ceiling and exposed rafters giving it a rustic look inside. The owner finished it off with a ceiling fan for the hot summer nights!
